Former Security Guard Arrested for Alleged Robbery



A certain Normil Bolong a former security guard of the  G4S Cash Solution Philippines Inc., was arrested by elements of Quezon City Police District criminal investigation on October 19, 2015, Monday in relation to the P2.4 million robbery to an automated teller machine (ATM) booth of the Bank of Philippine Island (BPI) situated in Aurora Boulevard, Quezon City.

According to the report of QCPD’s theft and recovery unit, the suspect was arrested at the Wells Fargo Center in Taguig City.

The suspect was identified by witnesses as one of the men who looted the money from the ATM, through the picture provided by G4S Cash Solution Philippines Inc., his previous employer.

Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit operatives said that before the arrest of Normil Bolongs they received information from Pateros law enforcement about a similar incident that took place on July 2013 to an ATM booth of the BPI in Barangay Poblacion, in which 1 million pesos reported stolen.
